Halloween Outfits From the High street!

Ok, this is the first episode of my Halloween series that you can read here . I am going to share 4 very different style outfits all with a Halloween theme, you can purchase all these products from high street shops

Skull Costume

I love this outfit so much because it is perfect to wear to a party and for the nights leading up to Halloween , this outfit is quite simple and casual, to dress it down swap the heels for little black/grey pumps.

Black Platform heals with a wedge- H&M- £24.99
Horror Stories Tights- Topshop- £10.00
4 Pack Gold Metallic Geo Rings- Newlook- £7.99
I'm aware that I only pictured 3 rings because the 4th I felt would not go with the outfit as much

Cat Costume

I love this outfit so much, I think it is slightly more dressy and evening, I especially love the simple head band because I think it makes it more of a Halloween costume without looking like its come out of a costume shop.

Gold cat ears Alice band- Newlook- £3.99
3 Pack Gold Leopard Head Stud Earrings- Newlook - £5.99
Black suedette chain detail strappy heels- Newlook- £29.99
The earring set does come in a 3 pack of different Leopard earrings in slight different colors.

Victim Costume

I personally am not a massive fan of this outfit, but for Halloween festivals this outfit would be ideal, maybe change the heels for boots? I Do love the necklace though and I think it really suits this outfit.

Black and Red Colour Block Platform Court shoes- Newlook- £24.99

My Top 5 Beauty Products Of All Time!

these are all by far my favorite beauty products that i use regularly and defiantly recommended them to everyone.

1. Gosh- Velvet Touch Foundation Primer Cream- £9.99 from Superdrug
This is the best primer I have every used it is smooth and creamy and does not feel cakey on my skin. This primer is moisturizing and really helps my foundation last all day. Also it has no perfume scent to it so does not have a strong smell to it. The ingredients are healthy and organic, and it is the one primer that does not make me break out in spots.
2. Benefit- Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow- £25.50 from boots
This is my favorite foundation ever, even though it is on the pricey side it is defiantly worth the money, however it has quite a light coverage but it can be applied more to form a medium coverage, therefore i would not recommend this product to people who would prefer a higher coverage. This product is also oil free and has a SPF of 25. It helps brighten your face and make yours skin look healthier. The final look of this foundation is dewy and glowing. I have been using this foundation for as long as I can rememeber and I don't think i will ever change haha, Not making any promises though.
3. Rimmel London-Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder- £3.99 boots
this is the best powder I have ever used even compared to any high end pressed powder,  Its very cheap and amazing quality and can be purchased from boots or Super drug  I apply this over my dewy foundations because it creates a more matte look. Also this helps my make up stay on all day and does not make me break out with spots.  For days when my skin is feeling healthier and I have no spots sometimes i just apply this instead of foundation.  This is a great product for people with oily skin and combination skin because it helps control the appearance of pores.

4. Maybelline New York- colour tattoo 24hr in eternal gold 05 - £4.99 Superdrug
This long lasting (not a whole 24 hours though, even though this is what it promises) eye tattoo is creamy and the perfect color to make blue/green eyes seem bigger, This is perfect for those cold days coming up shortly, just to brighten up your eyes.  the colour is a shimmery gold and works well with brown eyeliner, just lining the lash line. It has a nice creamy gel finish and lasts for about 9 hours even in warm temperatures
5. Real Techniques Buffing Brush- Part of the core collection kit- £21.99
As far as I'm aware you have to purchase this brush as part of the core collection kit which includes three other brushes. This makeup brush is my all time favorite  i use this everyday for my foundation because it really helps it sink in to my skin and make it look natural and not at all cakey. It feels soft on your skin and is a must have brush for any type of foundation.  I have been using this type of brush for about 2 year, I love it so much, defiantly worth purchasing this kit because it comes with other amazing brushes.

these are all my favorite products and are only my opinion, please feel free to leave questions and comments bellow and i will be sure to reply.

Head to Head Beauty Products.

This is my first post on my new blog, so i hope you all love it ;)

In this post I will put to similar products together to see which one is truly better.

Dry Shampoo's:

This is the first head to head item I will review. They both work really well however there are some major differences.  The tony&Guy one is a bit more expensive but the tony&guy dry shampoo has the best smell to it, I use it every other day because my hair gets greasy quite easily.  I much prefer the toni and guy packaging because it looks more expensive and in my opinion just nicer. Overall the toni and guy dry shampoo lasts longer because there is much more product in the can.   Also the toni and guy dry shampoo does not have a white powder that comes out of it when you use it, which I find much better. I love these both, however i think my favorite has to be Toni&Guy dry shampoo, even though the price is slightly more expensive I defiantly think it is worth it.

Dove Fake tans:

These fake tans look almost identical and the amount of times i have picked the wrong one up because of this is ridiculous. As you can see they are both called summer glow, but underneath the one on the right hand side it says '+ light shimmer' I hate this! When i put the one with the light shimmer on every were i went i was shining, it looked like someone had pored glitter on me I hated it. Some people may love this 'shimmer' affect, but i absolutely hated it. When i buy a fake tan i want it to make me look sun kissed not like I've stepped out of a glitter bath. hahah. So for me the dove original summer glow is much better because it moisturizes and has a subtle gradual fake tanner.

Sun Cream Lotion:

These sun creams are both amazing, However i much prefer boots own brand (sorry if you don't live in the UK) I find it has a much nicer scent to it and leaves a less 'sticky' feel when you apply it. It helps moisturizes as well. And when I have used this I have never been sun burnt. So it defiantly does the trick. I'm not someone who spends a fortune on sun cream because I prefer to save up for other high end makeup/skin care.

I hope everyone liked this blog post, feel free to follow and comment down bellow.
